Welcome to CAF Equestrian

About Danielle Gabree
Danielle has had a passion for horses since a young age and has spent the last 30 plus years riding and training with multiple different trainers and disciplines. With over a decade of professional experience and success with her business "CAF Equestrian", she has accumulated quite a few accomplishments and achievements for herself, her horses and students.
Notable Achievements

One of the first big competitions Danielle enter was the first ever 'American Horsewomans challenge' held in Guthrie OK. This competition was the first of its kind trainer competition to be judged on liberty, cowboy dressage and trail with finalist competing in a freestyle. Competitors needed a young untrained horse and had 8 months to prepare. Danielle and her horse chinook stayed in the top 3 throughout the competition and finished 5th after the freestyle out of 30 seasoned trainers. This show was only a year after Danielle went out on her own as a trainer.

Danielle would then 3 years later compete in the Retired Racehorse Project with a 4yo ottb gelding named Felix. It was another opportunity to test her skills as a trainer, bringing a horse straight off the track adding in another challanging layer. They entered into the eventing division and danielle and felix were top 8 after dressage with a 70%. With two clear jumping rounds but technical judging on technique was competitive. The pair ended up 17th out of a massive field of 90 entries!
Danielle recieved her USDF Bronze medal in 2022 and then her silver medal in 2023. She has spent the last 8+ years competing in dressage, bringing multiple horses and students along successfully.

Looking back on the years of training, the most rewarding part has been seeing the progress of each individual partnership. While our history includes students consistently placing at Regionals and Finals, we take just as much pride in the quiet successes at home and at local shows. Each ribbon and every 'best' test is a testament to the calm, correct foundation we strive for with every student."
